Recently, the Long Beach Post hightlighted the Long Beach Office’s involvement with a local charitable organization in celebration of the Firm’s 50th Anniversary.
“Tredway, Lumsdaine & Doyle, a Southern California-based law firm with an office in the World Trade Center in Long Beach, is celebrating 50 years in business this year. They marked this occasion earlier this month in Long Beach.
The most admirable part of 50th milestone is that each of their offices adopted a charity to show their support for the local community. For its celebration, the Long Beach office featured an exhibition showcasing artwork from clients of Arts & Services for the Disabled a local nonprofit. Attendees were invited to purchase the artwork with proceeds going directly back into Arts & Services for the Disabled’s programs. Additionally, the Long Beach office has adopted a family through the Salvation Army for the holidays in the past, and supports many other local organizations, including the East Long Beach Pony Baseball League, Long Beach Rotary, Long Beach St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation and the Long Beach Sea Festival…”

At the 50th Anniversary Celebration in Long Beach on December 7, 2011, Partner Matt Kinley and Managing Partner Dan Gold receives Certificate of Recognition from Bill Orton of State Senator Rod Wright’s office.

Recently, Councilmember Jeffrey Lalloway from the City of Irvine presented the Firm with a “Certificate of Recognition” for community efforts. Councilmember Jeffrey Lalloway blogged about his experience visiting the Firm:
“A few short months ago a local law firm invited my office to attend their 50th Anniversary Celebration that doubled as a canned food drive for needy families. I am a staunch believer in the ability of local citizens and businesses to strengthen their community from the ground up, so was curious to find out more about their efforts.
What I found out was that this law firm was able to collect over 400 pounds of food and monetary contributions to help those in need. These efforts supplement already robust philanthropic efforts in which TL&D sponsors local charitable organizations including the Big Brothers of Orange County, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Share Our Selves.
What a profound impact and this is just one organization. I know many local businesses and citizens in our city that help those less fortunate and this holiday season there are many ways in which you can help others…”
